Equipment needed: the original toted Yoga Tune Up Ball (or two tennis balls
in a knotted sock or tennis balls wrapped in duct tape) and a Yoga Tune Up
Coregeous Ball (or a squishy ball or rolled up towel)
Rolling with the Yoga Tune Up Balls is a great way of massaging away muscle
soreness (trigger points that can cause restrictions and discomfort), increase
blood flow and circulation to the soft tissues. This will also prepare your
muscles for deeper stretching or as a warmup before (and after a workout).
Loosening the tension in your muscles provides an excellent way of obtaining
the benefits of self-myofascial release. The goal is to soften and lengthen the
fascia.
